High ResolutionShot two images on FP4 5x4 negs about a month ago. This was the one that worked and even then it was wrong. Shot this backwards unto the non-emulsion side, hence the average tones and soft focus. 5x4 black and white loading and processing is a long, long process. Lots of time and thought needs to go into the image, then a lot of time and care needs to go into the processing. I think this will be a project I’ll delve into when Uni is over with for this year.

Cambo 4x5/Polaroid 3000
These are just some test images taken today to get the feel of large format shooting. Taken on a Cambo 4x5 with Fuji 3000 ISO polaroid pack film. I found that it’s quite difficult to get used to focusing. Because the focusing screen is quite bright up close, when you move your head back it becomes hard to see what is in focus. Also the amount of adjustability when tilting the bellows is interesting to get your head around.
The following images are by no means great photos, but they are nice mix of an old, cumbersome camera and a medium of minimal control.
Expect a body of work in the coming months using the Cambo and a mixture of B&W negs and Colour 100 ISO polaroid.

High ResolutionShot a few test polaroids today with the Cambo 4x5. It’s so much fun setting up so much just for one photo. Large format is enjoyable. Will post up some shots from today shortly. Picking up some b&w 4x5 film tomorrow, hopefully. Good fun!!!!
