Whilst editing through a big backlog of negatives in preparation for an upcoming trip, I found what I think is either the first or second roll that I put through the Mamiya RB67. The RB67 was the first medium format camera I had ever used, apart from my Holga and I only began using it at the beginning of this year. It’s safe to say that the RB67 has changed the way I take images and has steered me in the direction I am currently going. It’s found a new home with my girlfriend and I’m currently using an RZ67. It’s interesting to see how my process and style has changed since then, and also how poorly I developed and looked after this certain roll of film.

I’m sure this film was Ilford Delta 3200 which is a beautiful film, but I was at the stage where I didn’t know if I was taking the images correctly or not, so the majority of these were extremely underexposed. For poorly exposed and developed negatives, I’m actually quite happy with my discovery, and it’s always nice to see a clear progression in anything that you do.

High ResolutionFinally got around to scanning some film from the last month or so; and FINALLY put two packets of Polaroid film through my new RZ67! So expect some updates later on today and in the coming week. Also in the middle of updating my new website on a server that won’t get shut down for no good reason, so I should hopefully have that done in the next week or so…
As well as starting a new series this weekend in Wodonga which I’m feeling good about!! It’s nice to be on holidays!
